I’ve seen countless posts in Facebook groups and other places with moms asking for recommendations for baby shower venues in Milwaukee, and I’ve rounded up a few great ones to share! Each venue has its own unique traits, and I believe there is something here for every taste and budget! After you read through, I’d love for you to tell me if you found a new favorite! And, leave any other recommendations in the comments!
Here we go! If you’re an expecting mama looking for a baby shower venue- this is for you!
If I was looking for a baby shower venue, I would definitely consider the Wauwatosa Historical Society! It has a lot of really elegant looking, ornate woodwork and details on the inside. There are also BEAUTIFUL gardens on the grounds! Parking is available on the streets. You do need to have at least a two-hour minimum here, which is pretty doable for a baby shower in my opinion!
As a former resident of New Berlin, I can confidently say that I LOVE the Cleveland Pub & Grill! This would be an excellent choice for someone who wants a relaxed atmosphere (with good food! Nacho bar buffet?! YES!) The capacity of the room is slightly smaller than others, so do keep that in mind.
This is a GORGEOUS venue with a slightly more upscale feel. With a view of the lake, white walls and white tables/tablecloths, it’s perfect for the mama who cares about a beautiful space for a shower! Located in Pewaukee for all of you Lake Country moms!
Our church rented out the venue at Lake Vista Park in Oak Creek and it is STUNNING. Very modern and new, with a sleek design. In the summer, you would have beautiful views of the lake and fields/flowers nearby. Everything is easily accessible, and very up to date. Beautiful space!
You may or may not know that I’m a proud Greendale, WI resident! So, I couldn’t leave out a local Greendale venue: the Historic Hose Tower! When researching for this blog post, I found MANY people fully recommending this space. It’s already set up with round tables, and makes hosting a shower such a breeze! There are separate rates for residents and non-residents, so make sure you check out their website!
The library is not the first thing I think of when renting a space for a baby shower, but I’m finding that many libraries actually have great spaces for this! The Cudahy library specifically has several different room options with various sized tables, capacities and price points. If you’re looking for a simple space for your shower, definitely don’t pass by without checking this one out!
This space is SO cute! It’s a little bit rustic, but still cozy. This Nature Center rental is south of Milwaukee, for all the Racine mamas! I’m obsessed with the lights on the ceilings and the wooden walls. Just gorgeous. I also love their option for a covered outdoor space in the summer. If you’re looking for a cozy cabin feel, this is it!
Are you an expecting mama? Have you tried any of these venues first hand? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them in the comments, and I’m sure everyone would love to hear first hand experiences! If you have any questions, feel free as always to contact me!
