Before you know it, you’ll be scrolling through (and tearing up at) your newborn photos. I hand-edit and deliver a full online gallery within three weeks of your session. You’re free to download and print any images you please, or allow me to design and print an heirloom album or gallery wall to preserve your photos forever.

Hooray — your newborn session is here! I arrive at your home, set up my lighting equipment, and begin working my “baby whisperer” magic. While I offer gentle guidance to capture both candids and portraits, I let your newborn lead. If baby needs a break… we take a break! I stay as long (or as short) as it takes.
PREP
Once your spot is reserved, I send a newborn session prep guide with tips on locations, outfits, older siblings, and anything else you may be wondering about. You can always email or set up a call with me, too. I want you to feel perfectly at ease before, during, and after your session.

When is the best time to schedule newborn photos?
Babies come on their own timeline, so we choose a date after they arrive. I typically recommend scheduling your newborn session about two or three weeks after your baby is born.
There’s No Such Thing As A Silly Question In My Book!
Can I still schedule newborn photos if I missed that window?
Of course! I’ve had many moms schedule their newborn sessions up to a few months after their babies were born. Your baby won’t have that “squishy” look, which some moms prefer!
What if my house doesn’t photograph well?
Almost all my clients worry about this, and almost none of them should! There are very few houses that won’t photograph well. If you’re truly concerned, you can send me a photo or video of your space, and I’ll let you know what I think.
