I’m so excited to share this first birthday lifestyle session! This is my cousin and her family, and I love them SO MUCH! When I grew up, I was so lucky to have cousins that were like siblings to me! My family all lived in two neighboring towns, and family get-togethers were a BIG DEAL. Our grandma was pretty much crazy about holidays…huge celebrations, lots of food, lots of family time. I am so blessed to grow up knowing and loving all my cousins, and can’t imagine my childhood without those memories!
After my grandma passed away, it seemed like the holiday celebrations might stop, but Wanita picked up where she left off, and graciously hosts and serves our family several times a year. I’m so thankful for the way she loves us so selflessly. She truly is the one that keeps the family together!
As we’ve grown older and each have two boys, we’ve gotten closer, and I can’t wait for our boys to grow up with the same traditions and celebrations that we did. We now have FIVE little guys between us and another cousin, and all within just a few years of each other! Little Max is turning one in just a few days, and I’m sure that he and Jude will grow up to be besties! <3
