I want to start by acknowledging that I am probably over-sharing this family session, but I LOVE how this Christmas Tree Farm session turned out, and this is one of my favorite families of all time, so I just couldn’t pick only a few to share! Shout out to Poplar Creek Tree Farm in New Berlin for allowing us to take photos there! It’s such a cute family tree farm! I’d highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area!
Leia & Guy and their family of FIVE (baby number 3 on the way!) are soon moving to Minneapolis, and I’m incredibly thrilled to have captured a few moments for them before they transition out of Milwaukee and back near their families. I can’t help but laugh when I think about how I actually first met them in Minneapolis while in college, but never actually really knew them until several years later when we all ended up in Milwaukee! I’m so thankful that we ended up crossing paths again and got a second chance to become friends with these amazing people 8 years or so after first meeting them! <3
But wait…there’s more! It’s a gender reveal! Funny story here – Leia had originally come up with the idea to inflate three balloons with helium (two pink, one blue), but apparently there’s a helium shortage!! Who knew?! So, letter board to the rescue! Good thing I had this thing sitting around!
With two girls and a sweet BOY on the way, these two will have their hands and hearts full come April!
