What better way to celebrate my 30th than having one of my best friends and her family in town?! We had SUCH a great weekend. Hikes at Grant Park. Time at the zoo. Lots of good food – cheese curds, “brunch” at 8 am, ice cream, burgers… Watching our kiddos play and get to know eachother. Good talks in the car. Trying to stay up past 9:30 (seriously, we are getting old!). And of course, it was topped off by a family photo session!
I met Anna in PT school. I still remember when we met in the parking lot on the first day as we were looking for the classroom. From there, our friendship grew! We hung out, studied together and I was there for the whole engagement/marriage season between her and Bo. I even took my first trip down south for their wedding! It was an interesting roadtrip…maybe a story for another time 😉 I never could have imagined at that time that we would be hanging out in Wisconsin watching our boys play together!
I’m so thankful I was able to take some photos of their family. Bo & Anna are two of the most gracious, kind people you will ever meet. The way that they both serve and love people is amazing, and something I aspire to (Fun fact: their son’s name is Deacon, which actually means servant! I have no doubt he will grow into this name with parents like them!)
Love you guys so much! So thankful that Bo’s work meets in Wisconsin every year. Already looking forward to the next visit <3
